TPH uses SharePoint to securely share important files with customers. Please only use this as a temporary means of transferring documents. All parties should remove documents once they've been received.

If you have been given access to a SharePoint folder you will be sent an email containing the access link.

The SharePoint link can be found at the bottom of that email.

Click the link and you will be taken to the SharePoint folder. If you have already set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for your account you will be prompted to allow access or sent a code to enter, depending on your settings.

If you are new to TPH SharePoint or if you have not set up Direct Access and MFA you will need to follow the instructions below.

 

Instructions:

  1. Login into TPH SharePoint using the email address where the invitation was sent.

    • If you have a company email address you will usually need to select ‘organisational account’ and then use the same username and password you would use to sign into your company email account.

    • If you are using a private email address (eg gmail), you will either need to use your person Microsoft Office password if you have an account for that email address, or sign up for a free account using the same email address where you received the SharePoint invitation.

  2. You will be prompted for setting up MFA as shown below in the picture.

3. Select Next to Setup MFA for TPH SharePoint. You will be able to choose to use the Microsoft Authenticator app or receive a text message.

Using MFA on the Microsoft Authenticator App

1. Follow the instructions listed below to install the Microsoft Authenticator app to your smartphone. Once installed, click Next.

2. As the instructions suggest, allow notifications in the installation process for the Authenticator app, then click Next

3. TPH’s SharePoint signup page will then display a screen with QR code. Open the Microsoft Authenticator App on the phone click Add Account and then choose scan the above QR Code.

4. Once the QR Code is scanned, TPH SharePoint will send a notification for verification on the Microsoft Authenticator App on the phone.

5. Open the Microsoft Authenticator App on the phone and you will see a notification window “Approve sign-in?”. Notification window will have 2 options “Deny” and “Approve” . Select Approve for completing the MFA Setup and TPH’s SharePoint account will associate the account with the Microsoft Authenticator App.

6. Once MFA is successfully setup for the TPH SharePoint you will see the below window. Click Done to complete the setup.

Using MFA via text message

1. You can choose to use you mobile phone the Office phone.

2. Select your preferred contact method and then press.

3. You will need to verify your contact method by entering the code.
