The FinDataQ error occurs when a chart of account is missing a header account or a header account is set to level 0. This error will usually occur when running consolidated financial reports over multiple currencies, locations, or episode codes.

  • The header level you are looking for is the level you are running the report at. For example, if you are running your Cost Report at Heading level 4 and you get the error, this means you are missing some level 4 header accounts that need to be created in the Chart of Accounts Module.

  • You'll need to comb over your chart of accounts to find where the missing header account is, or if you have any header accounts that are set to level 0
