Scanned File Check

There are two ways to check that a barcode number was assigned to a transaction at the time of entering. The first way is at invoice entry stage, making sure the barcode number has been entered.  The other option is performing a barcode scan audit, which checks all the scans in the general ledger, letting you know if the attachment was unsuccessful.

Invoice Entry

1. Select invoices in batch and click the Reports button.

2. Tick Distribution Report

3. Tick the Include Scan file Names in Dist Report

Barcode Scan Audit

1. From the main menu bar select Control Table > System Defaults Scanning

2. Check the Check Scans button, then click the OK button

3. An Excel document will appear showing the File Name of the sticker when it was inputted during entry and the file path when it was entered.

  • If the File Name is missing (column B) that means the barcode entry number was not entered at the time of data entry.

  • Any barcode numbers output in this report means there is no filename/scan uploaded for that corresponding barcode.
