Document Creation - Excel Data Import
Documents can be drafted and imported en mass from excel templates.
This option is suited to productions where approvers may want to check entered details before drafting to speed up the approvals process or where accounts may want to enter codes beforehand.
Populate excel templates:
TPH Admin can provide an excel template for each form pack in your database.
For example the below document can be created quickly with an excel template:
The above “DEMO - Contract Amendment Form” document pack can be converted into and managed by the below excel sheet.
How to import Excel Data
This function is located on the document creation page. Instead of selecting the “+” button for document creation within Digital Forms, select the import arrow (highlighted yellow below).
Open the correctly completed excel form, highlight all rows and columns included in the form, and Copy.
This will bring up the following box: Ctr +P (Paste) into the empty data field. Press Save.
A new form pack will be created, and can be saved into the ‘Drafts’ page. Please double check the recipients phone number and email address at this stage.
