Reversing a Posted Journal

You can reverse a batch entry by batch number in the Journal Inquiry screen. This will create a batch in Journal Entry, reading to post down and reverse our existing transaction lines.

1. Navigate to General Ledger → Journal Inquiry

2. Enter in the batch number of the journal you wish to reverse.

3. Click the Reverse Jnl Button. A popup will appear asking if you would like to reverse the journal batch.

4. Navigate to General Ledger → Journal Entry and open the newly created Journal Reversal Batch.

5. Post your reversal to the General Ledger by clicking the Post button.
