-11 Error Message in Eclipse

Problem: You are receiving a -11 Error in Eclipse when trying to print a report.

 

Solution: The -11 Error means that Eclipse cannot find a printer to print to. This is either because there is no default printer setup, or there is a drop in your network connection which causes your printer to become disconnected.

Follow these instructions below to fix the issue:

  1. Make sure that your default printer is setup on your computer.

  2. Now close Eclipse, but keep the Go-Global window open. Click the File menu in Go-Global and select the Printers option.

     

  3. In the Printers window that opens in Go-Global make sure that there is a printer selected as the Default. You can do this by highlighting a printer and clicking the Set Default button. A small tick will appear over the printer icon that is your default printer.

     

  4. If your printer does not appear in the above list, please click the Add button to find your printer. Highlight your printer and then click Add again. Then go back to Step 3.

     

  5. Test printing a page to your printer by highlighting it an pressing the “Test Page” button

     

  6. Now close Go-Global by going to File -> Sign Out. Reopen Go-Global and log back into Eclipse to print your report.
