Import FBT Changes into Eclipse

Follow this guide to import changes you have made in the Excel FBT Export file back into Eclipse. To learn how to run an FBT Export view the guide Rental Car Hire and FBT

Note:

This sheet is only for making amendments to already existing fuel and hire car registers.
- You cannot add new rows by importing this sheet.
You can only edit data in the columns with a Red Header.
- Data edited in columns with a Black Header will not be imported into Eclipse and will be ignored.

Editable fields in the Fuel Register Sheet:

Total Receipts (Inc GST). This matches back to the Docket Amount.

Process to Import your Edits:

1. Go to General Ledger > Ledger Inquiry > Reports

2. Click the FBT checkbox so the FBT Tab Appears.

3. Go to the FBT Tab where you will see two buttons:

Paste Fuel Register Changes and Paste Hire Car Register Changes.

4. Go to your FBT Excel Sheet Export and navigate to the sheet you made edits in - either the Fuel Register sheet or Hire Car Register sheet.

5a. If you have made changes to the Fuel Register sheet.

Only copy the transaction lines to your clipboard: Column B to Column AC.
Do not copy the headers or white space.
Then go to the FBT Tab in Eclipse and click the Paste Fuel Register Changes button.

5b. If you have made changes to the Hire Care Register sheet.

Only copy the transaction lines to your clipboard: Column B to Column X.
Do not copy the headers or white space.
Then go to the FBT Tab in Eclipse and click the Paste Hire Car Register Changes button.

6. The changes you made in the FBT Export file have now been updated in Eclipse and you will be given a message if the paste in completes.
