QAPE / Rebate / Regional Spend Reports

When inserting transactions into Eclipse you will need to flag your transactions with either the Free Field or Insurance Field flagging fields. Depending on whether you have more or less QAPE transactions, you may choose to only flag non-QAPE transactions, or flag all QAPE transactions

1. Changing QAPE Flagging on Transactions

If you need to change QAPE flagging on transactions, the flag fields can be edited from:

2. Updating QAPE Budget EFCs, If you run a Cost Report with Flag fields it uses your Rebate Budget Worksheet instead of your Standard Budget Worksheet.

To update the EFCs that are shown in your QAPE Report you need to switch your Budget Worksheet to the Rebate Budget Worksheet. See Update the Rebate Budget Worksheet for Cost Reports

3. Running a QAPE Report. When running QAPE Reports, you need to use the flagging section in the Financial Reports.

3a. First, select the QAPE Report Default. If you are in the UK you can use the default 'Cost Report' Default or create your own default report.

3b. Then select the Report Range-Options tab and select the appropriate Flag Type you are using (Insurance or Free Field).

  • In the example we are using the Free Field and have flagged all QAPE transactions with Q, so we put Q in the From and To field to exclude all non-QAPE transactions.

  • If you have done the opposite and flagged all non-QAPE transactions with Q, we need to exclude them.

  • You would put P in the to field and leave the From field blank. This would mean the report will run up to the letter P, and then exclude all transactions flagged with a letter Q and over when going alphabetically.

3c. Save your report with the floppy disk save icon and run it.
